Gris Erik — 100mL

Gris Erik is the ASSAF bottle to hand to anyone who says Arabian perfumery is all oud and sugar. It is a mossy oriental floral, composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani, a genuinely well-known perfumer.

Bergamot and jasmine open it clean and bright. The heart layers rose over amber and sandalwood, warm but never syrupy, with the wood keeping the flowers in check. Then patchouli, oakmoss and cedarwood take it somewhere older and greener, the slightly bitter finish that classical French perfumery is built on.

Eau de Parfum, 100 mL, for women and men, launched in 2023. One of the easiest ASSAF bottles to wear year-round.
