Mehwar means axis, the point everything else turns around, and the composition earns the name by sitting exactly between floral and woody without committing to either.

Per the brand's own product page: linden blossom and jasmine sambac open it soft and white-floral, with guaiac wood underneath from the very first spray. Heliotrope and orange blossom take the middle in an almond-tinged, powdery direction, threaded with Indian vetiver. The drydown is modern and clean rather than traditional: Ambrofix and Georgywood, warm, woody-musky, and close to the skin.
